I'm On The Right Path With My Weight Loss
As a result of experiencing some serious health issues about two years ago due to being overweight, I made a decision to lose twenty five pounds. For the majority of my life, I have struggled with my weight. However, when I began experiencing things like constant headaches and shortness of breath, I realized that I had to get my weight problem under control. Just doing the double chin exercises I had been doing weren't going to cut it.
I started by making a list of all the things I typically ate during the week. To my surprise the majority of things I was eating were all very high in fat, calories and sugar. For example, I would buy at least one pack of cookies and crackers every time I went grocery shopping. I also noticed that the cereal I was buying was full of nothing but preservatives and sugar.
When it came to creating a new eating plan, I felt the best strategy would be to start eliminating one food item at a time. Although my “mind” knew that these foods were bad for me, my “stomach” however took a little more convincing. Also, I had read many articles that stated if you take away too much food at once when trying to lose weight, your body will feel deprived.
The first week I got rid of the cookies, and replaced them with low calorie granola bars. Next, I got rid of the high sodium crackers and replaced them with natural flavored popcorn. By just eliminating these two items, I lost four pounds. The next phase of my new eating plan consisted of eliminating all pastries and ice cream products. This included things like nutty buddy ice cream bars and also chocolate covered donuts. After about two weeks without eating any of these foods, I managed to lose an additional five pounds. I now realize that doing the things I learned at doublechin-exercises.net was pretty much laughable.
After being amazed at how much weight I was losing, it became even easier to eliminate all the other bad foods from my diet. By the end of five months I had successfully managed to lose a total of twenty five pounds. In addition to eliminating bad foods, I also developed a daily routine of walking around the neighborhood for about fifteen to twenty minutes a day. Now that I am twenty five pounds lighter, I have higher self esteem, look better in my clothes and my overall health is much, much better.
